Reviews
Rachel Hackenberg does an excellent job of showing kids something concrete from the material world (a musical instrument, a vineyard, a lighthouse), then explaining Bible passages in which these concrete images are translated into powerful metaphors for God's communication with, and love for people.
These videos [are] engaging, fun, colorful, and well-paced for kids. The ideas are well-organized and, because they engage multiple learning styles, they stick in the mind long after the DVD is viewed.
I highly recommend this new DVD on prayer, for churches, schools, and families.

I am so impressed with this DVD series! Rachel G. Hackenberg uses bright visuals, humorous sketches, and engaging segments to teach children how to pray. Lots of eye candy here! Vivid images and real life depictions show children what prayer is all about, while snappy music and colorful, upbeat sections really hold kids' attention. Even my four-year-old granddaughter couldn't stop talking about prayer after watching it. What a tremendous resource for parents and grandparents!

I would recommend this DVD. The overall message is so important for our young children to hear: prayer is a powerful, yet completely accessible part of the Christian life. Anyone can pray... you can pray. Furthermore, prayer is ultimately not about the words we say (although words can be important), but about the relationship we build with the living God, who will always hear our prayers.
