The Turtle Dove is a delightful remembrance of God's love and is well within vocal ranges. This anthem is set in strophic form with a refrain and is supported by a rhythmic and colorful accompaniment. The final verse, set in open octaves, concludes the piece with jubilant "Hosannas".
