Sr. Mary Lane is a member of The Community of Jesus, a monastic community in Orleans, Massachusetts in the Benedictine tradition. She collaberated with Sr. Huai-Kuang Miao on the illustrations for The Genesis of It All, and their collaborative style of illustration blends a precise attention to detail with a wonder for the mysticism of the text. Sr. Mary Lane studied at the Arts Students League in New York City and at the Parsons School of Design. She lives on Cape Cod.
