Esther de Waal

Esther de Waal is an Anglican laywoman and one of the most popular authors of Christian spirituality today. Her special interests lie in the fields of Benedictine and Celtic spirituality. Her Seeking God, the Way of St. Benedict (Liturgical Press), written while she was living in Canterbury, has become a world wide best-seller. She has now returned to the Welsh Border country where she grew up as a child, though she also travels widely, lecturing and giving retreats throughout the United States and around the world.
