Anyone who has spent time in a monastery cloister knows that this sacred space, set apart from all the noise and activity of life, can be deeply restorative. A cloister is a place of undisturbed quiet and natural beauty, which helps us to silence our interior ÒnoiseÓ and open our hearts to the presence of God.
