Christus factus est

Michael Ferguson's melodic line develops a chant-like atmosphere while a "marching" ostinato in the organ part underscores the path of Christ's obedience. The unison line remains within a narrow range, with many chromatic twists. The inside of the front cover provides a translation of this sacred chant text traditionally associated with the suffering and passion of Jesus.
