Christ Be With Me

Pulkingham's version of this well-known 11th century Celtic prayer takes its purity and simplicity from the text. Meter changes support the flow of the text, while each voice part remains in its own warmest range, adding to the purity of the sound. The organ accompaniment serves as a prelude, interlude, and postlude to the verses which are a cappella.
