Robert Powell brings a great text to life with the alternating unison and 2 part duets sprinkled throughout this anthem. The introductory piano part prepares for the inviting tune that rises and falls. A “Piu mosso” part in the middle leads to “Tempo I” where the melody gently tapers into a short piano conclusion–a great arrangement of this familiar text by Alexander Carmichael.
