Beznevestnaya Devo - O Immaculate Virgin

O Immaculate Virgin is one of over 100 choral concertos and 200 vocal works composed by Titov. His choice of the 'ritornello' form enabled him to unite many different choral textures within a basic eight-voice construct. The extreme vocal ranges and dynamics combined with this traditional baroque concept create a work of striking contrasts, illuminating the many emotions found within this prayer.
