Around the Throne of God

Written in hymn-anthem style, "Around the Throne of God" is suitable for general use. Dr. Herman presents a beautiful new tune which includes simple meter changes and contrasting dynamic levels. This anthem begins with unison singing followed by a canonic second verse with soft chordal organ accompaniment. Also included is an 'a cappella' verse for four part SATB choir using very colorful harmonies, and the verse is written with a soaring descant line. The last page may be photocopied to include congregational singing.
