Aaron David Miller is widely renowned as both a performer and a composer. An extensive recital careeer has taken Dr. Miller to locations throughout North America and Canada. Dr. Miller has received several awards in organ performance and composition, including the Young Composer's Award from the Athens Olympics. In 1996 he won the Bach and Improvisation prizes at the Calgary International Organ Festival.
In addition to his credentials as a performer and composer, Dr. Miller has held various positions as a teacher and church musician. From 1996 to 1999 he was a member of the theory faculty at the Manhattan School of Music. In 1999 he taught Organ performance and Literature in the Masters program in Sacred Music at St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana. In addition, he has led master classes in organ performance and improvisation at AGO chapters across the country. From 1999-2000 he served as Organist and Assistant Director of Music at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, and in 2000 he jointed the staff of the Monroe Street Methodist Church in Toledo, where he currently serves as Director of Music.
